Scheduled Salt Keys Change (Pro)
Automatically update your WordPress salt keys to keep your site secure.
Enable Automatic Updates
Check the Enable automatic salt key updates box to set up scheduled updates. You can choose how often the salt keys should be updated:
- Daily (select the time)
- Weekly (select the day and time)
- Monthly (select day of the month and time)
- Quarterly (select the time)
- Biannual (select the time)
For example, selecting the Weekly option lets you choose a specific day and time, such as Sunday at 12:00 AM.
Notifications
Get notified about salt key changes:
- Remind me to update the salt keys manually – Receive an email reminder every 7 days. To start the countdown, click Change Salt Keys Now button.
- Notify me when salt keys are changed automatically – Get an email whenever the plugin updates the salt keys based on your schedule.
Enter the email addresses to receive these notifications in the Email Addresses field. Use commas to separate multiple addresses.
Save Your Settings
Once you’ve configured your schedule and notifications, click Save Settings to apply the changes. Enter the email addresses to receive these notifications in the Email Addresses field. Use commas to separate multiple addresses.
⚠️Updating the salt keys—whether manually or through a scheduled update—will log out all currently logged-in users.
Manual Salt Keys Change
Manually update your WordPress salt keys anytime with a single click.
Changing the salt keys will log out all users, including you, and require them to log in again. This is a security measure to invalidate old authentication cookies.
Use this option if you suspect unauthorized access to your site or need to force all users to re-authenticate.
Click the Change Salt Keys Now button to apply the update all salt keys immediately.
